Harry Bradford
Harry Bradford is a prize-winning conductor and tenor based in London. A former choral scholar of King’s College, Cambridge, Harry recently graduated with distinction from an MMus in Choral Conducting from the Royal Academy of Music where he was also awarded the prestigious DipRAM and the Academy Alumni Scholarship for a ‘singularly distinguished studentship’. During his time at the Academy, Harry was also the Genesis Sixteen Conducting Scholar 2018-19 working with Harry Christophers and Eamonn Dougan as well as the Alec Robertson Scholar at Westminster Cathedral. Alongside being the conductor and co-founder of the professional vocal ensemble, Recordare, Harry holds permanent positions with the Thames Philharmonic Choir, the English Baroque Choir and the North Herts Guild of Singers. Recent career highlights include winning the Second Prize in the prestigious Eric Ericson Award in Stockholm, working as Chorus Master with MDR Rundfunkchor, Leipzig on Vaughan Williams’ ‘Sea Symphony’ at the Gewandhaus, and making his Cadogan Hall debut in a performance of Monteverdi’s ‘1610 Vespers’ with ‘His Majesty’s Sagbutts and Cornetts’. Forthcoming events include Bach’s 'B Minor Mass' at Cadogan Hall, Handel’s ‘Israel in Egypt’ at St John’s Smith Square and a programme of Marian music with the Swedish Radio Choir. Harry also remains active as a tenor, singing with a number of London’s professional church and chamber choirs.
