Sing Out! Pimlico

Sing Out! Pimlico is all about singing to have lots of fun. There’s no agenda except turn up, sing some great songs and get together with the Pimlico community.

Since launching in October 2022 the choir has gone from strength to strength. We have performed with live band at the Cambridge Street Kitchen, the Churchill Gardens Main Hall and many more community venues. We're a really friendly choir who sing a range of music from folk songs, to jazz to pop. We rehearse on Mondays at 7pm during school ‘term time’ and although regular commitment is brilliant, we're very understanding that weekly attendance is not always possible. We’re always looking for new members!

Structure: Weekly sessions during term time with regular informal performances.
What they sing: Popular songs that you may know already. Last term it was Laura Mvula, Jon Batiste and Kirk Franklin.
Performances: Sing Out! perform informally at community events around Pimlico. So far, we’ve sung at local restaurant Frida’s on Lupus Street and at the turning on of the Churchill Gardens Winter Lights.
Anyone local to the area.
No prior experience or skills are needed to take part in Sing Out! sessions. You don’t need to have a great voice. Everything is learnt together by ear, led by our experienced session leader, Clover.

Time: 7pm-8:15pm
Venue: St Gabriel's Halls, Churchill Gardens
