Join us for a fun, musicals themed singing event for all ages and abilities.
About this event
Enjoy hit songs from Grease, The Sound of Music, Rent, and Les Miserables, all led by our inspiring director Leanne Sedin. No preparation is needed, just bring your best singing voice and we'll teach you the rest!
The session will start with some simple warm ups, then Leanne will teach us some easy choral arrangements of our favourite musical hits. We’ll finish the evening with an informal performance of everything we’ve learnt.
Leanne Sedin
Leanne Sedin is a choir director, composer, singer and workshop leader. She trained as a Music Leader with Spitalfields Music, and has delivered projects with ENO Baylis, London Contemporary Voices, The Space, and the East London NHS Foundation Trust. She runs her own community choir, Sing Tower Hamlets, and as a singer she has performed with numerous high-profile artists including Imogen Heap, Laura Mvula and Amber Run. https://www.leannesedin.com/about
Pimlico Musical Foundation
The Pimlico Musical Foundation (PMF) was established in 2015 to provide disadvantaged children in Pimlico with access to free music tuition of the highest quality. In doing so, we aim to reduce the inequalities that result from local deprivation and improve community cohesion in one of London’s most complex inner-city boroughs. We work on a weekly basis with over 500 pupils in six state primary schools, run two popular extra-curricular choral programmes, organise specialist workshops, run an adult community chorus, put on termly concerts in local venues, and are an additional provider for the Tri-Borough Music Hub.
All funds raised from our Singalong events are invested back into our outreach programmes.

This is a pay-what-you-want event. There’s no obligation to pay anything.
Likewise, if you feel generous, your donation will go to paying for the event and any surplus will go towards the Children’s Choir!

It's going to be so fun and its open to everyone, so bring your friends, your mum, your children and your neighbour!
It's a very relaxed environment and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
